Tech+ Covered Policy

1. Coverage Scope

Tech+ Premium includes all benefits of Tech+ Basic, along with extended protection as follows:

Screen Coverage
• Accidental screen cracks or shattering due to drops or impacts
• LCD damage and touch malfunctions resulting from screen damage

Back Cover Coverage
• Cracks or damage to the rear glass/back panel due to accidental drops

Total Loss Coverage
• If the device is deemed irreparable by an authorized service partner, TecProtect will provide a new replacement device of the same model or an equivalent model.
The determination of “irreparable” status is made solely by TecProtect and its authorized partners.

2. Duration of Coverage

• Valid for 12 months from the activation date

3. Claim Limits

Maximum:
• 1 screen repair
• 1 back cover repair
• 1 total loss replacement per device during the policy period

4. Total Loss Conditions

Total loss coverage applies only if:
• The damage is accidental
• The device is not repairable
• The device is fully submitted and handed over
• Inspection and approval by TecProtect is completed

5. Exclusions

• Intentional or fraudulent damage
• Loss or theft of the device
• Water or fire damage
• Cosmetic damage without functional impact
• Damage caused by unauthorized repairs
• Devices not submitted for inspection

6. Replacement Terms

The replacement device will be:
• The same model OR
• An equivalent or successor model (subject to availability)
The replacement device will be:
• New and factory-sealed
Replacement is subject to full inspection and approval by TecProtect.

7. Service Time

• Standard repair time: 1–3 weeks
• Total loss replacement: 1–3 weeks, depending on availability and logistics

8. Transfer & Validity

• Non-transferable to other users or devices
• Valid only for the registered serial number

9. Activation & Payment

• Tech+ Premium protection is only valid upon successful activation and full payment of the applicable premium fee.
• A one-time fee of USD 39 must be paid by the customer at the time of activation.
• Activation must be completed within 4 weeks from the date of purchase.
• In case of non-payment or failure to activate within the specified period, the Tech+ Premium
coverage will not be activated and no benefits will apply.
• TecProtect reserves the right to decline any claim if activation and payment requirements have not been fulfilled.
